Ford F-150

It wasn't long ago that Ford released the ground-breaking high strength aluminum body F-150 and here they are with all new innovation for the 2018 model. Starting under the hood, the only way to describe the 2018 F-150's engine lineup is CHOICE.
The new F-150 offer four different engines for your lifestyle, the first is brand new 3.3L V6 which offers responsive power and capability through its twin independent variable cam timing and port fuel/direct injection systems. Then there is the 2.7L EcoBoost that delivers impressive, robust performance and capability in the same compact graphite iron used in the 6.7L Power Stroke found in the Super Duty. If you need more power out of you 6-cylinder then there is the 3.5L EcoBoost which has even higher power ratings then before at 375-Hp and 470 lb-ft of torque; beating out all other gas and diesel competitors. Then finally for those who require the V8 there is the legendary 5.0L that provides even more muscle than ever and delivers best-in-class payload at 395-Hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.
These EcoBoost and V8 engines also come equipped with a brand new 10-speed advanced automatic transmission. Compared to the 6-Speed it replaced, this new transmission delivers improved overall performance through optimized wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag reduction overdrive gears which results with enhanced acceleration at the low and mid ranges and increased fuel economy at the higher range. All new F-150's also come with auto-start-stop technology that saves fuel by automatically shutting the engine off when the truck has come to a stop and then restarts immediately when the brake is released - This feature deactivates when it wouldn't be needed such as when you're towing a trailer or running in 4WD.
